Personal: First and foremost I am a Christian, Husband, and Father. Nothing is more important to me than these three things. I live in College Station with my wife Andrea of eight years and we have two daughters Matilda, four, and Zoe, two. We are expecting our third baby in early April and enjoy the challenges of a growing family. I grew up in Tyler, TX attending T.K. Gorman high school where I played 3 years of varsity basketball. I started my last two years and my senior year helped lead my team to the state final four. I am currently working on a Masters in Coaching Education through the University of Ohio. I hope to use the game of basketball to impact young men and women both on and off the basketball court.
Coaching: I started my coaching career when I was 20 years old as the Head Middle School football coach at St. Joseph Catholic School in Bryan, TX. In 2008, I was an assistant varsity football coach and Special Teams Coordinator for St. Joseph under the direction of Randy Hollas. Coach Hollas played a major role in my coaching development and I am super thankful for this experience. I started coaching basketball for Texas Elite under the direction of Joey Simmons in 2010. In that summer I worked as an assistant for Joey on several girls teams. Since then I have been the Head Varsity and 8th grade boys coach. In January 2012, Joey Simmons sent me to train with Ganon Baker at his home in Bluefield, West Virginia. In those three days I learned more than I thought imaginable about coaching and training players. Since then I have been the Head Skills Trainer for Texas Elite in Bryan, Texas. Currently I am the Head Coach for the Aggieland Homeschool Panthers. I am very excited about our current season and welcome the challenge of leading these young men.
Goals: My goal as a coach is to have a positive impact on all the young men that I coach.
