Being the first year of our Aggieland Volleyball Boys Program, we had a large turnout of boys enabling us to make two Boys teams. Knowing we needed just the right person for the job of coaching this brand new team of young men, we struggled to find coaches as eager about our new adventure as we were… so we looked within to find the perfect fit! Coach Chad Ontko stepped in to both learn with and coach the Boys 16U team and soon after, Coach Hailey jumped on board to assist. This was a winning combination as they were just the right mix of light-hearted fun and technical skill and strategy to lead these boys to a 1^st Place Gold finish at the CHSM tournament, a Silver Bracket Championship at the Meridian tournament, a 2^nd Place finish at our Come & Take It Tournament, a 3^rd Place Silver Bracket trophy from the HSAA State Tournament, and the 16U Bronze Ball Championship at Nationals. As you can see, these Boys experienced unimaginable success this first year under the leadership of Coach Chad and Coach Hailey, who have laid the framework on which we intend to build a dominating boys program for years to come.
