Mckayla Weaver is a seasoned coach entering her 8th year coaching and has spent 18 years of her life surrounded by volleyball. McKayla was first introduced to and fell in love with the sport in 4th grade and went on to play throughout school, year-round club, and beach in Austin Texas. In high school, she was a 4-year Varsity DS/Libero where she earned multiple recognitions like Academic All District X4, Raider Fight Award, Defensive MVP X4, and Team Captain Sophomore, Junior, and Senior year. Aside from being in love with this great game, McKayla is also most proud of being a wife and mama. Her and her husband Jake have been married almost 5 years and they have three beautiful children together; Heidi, Riggs, and Jagger. They are excellent cheerleaders and I’m sure you will see them on our sidelines. Coach Mckayla is very eager to get started and honored to be a part of this program. She trains each athlete with respect, intensity, and a deep love for them. Coach Mckayla takes pride in creating lasting relationships with her athletes and their families where they feel safe and heard but are also challenged and grow. She looks forward to this season and says, “I am so thankful God has handpicked me to be a Panther.” Go Panthers.

Hello! My name is Cheikh Sow and I’m excited to be a part of the Aggieland community this year! I am a third-year journalism student at Texas A&M, and I also play for the nationally ranked Texas A&M Men's Club Volleyball team. This is my first year coaching, and I am excited to experience the game I love in a new way.
Not so Fun fact: I have dislocated my shoulder 6 times
My name is Halle Lawrence, and I am currently a sophomore at Blinn College. I played volleyball with Aggieland Homeschool Volleyball for seven seasons and two seasons with Brazos Valley Juniors as an Outside, Middle, Right Side, and Defensive Specialist. In 2023, the spring of my senior year of high school, I was given the opportunity to work with Coach Candi Baker in her off-season clinics for Aggieland. I was also presented the opportunity to volunteer as a coach under BCS Skyline where I assisted for two teams and coached for their STARS program. The experience with Coach Baker and Skyline paved the way for me to run my own private trainings the following Summer. I then went on to coach Aggieland’s 2023-24 Junior High Black and Junior High Purple teams alongside Coach Leah Klatt. I have been actively coaching with AHV during the 2024 Off-Season Program, and I am more than excited for this upcoming volleyball season. I can’t wait to see how God uses this season to grow this program, its coaches, and its members.
Fun Fact: If you ask me where I want to eat—morning or night—my answer will always be Chick-Fil-A. There is no exception…unless it’s a Sunday.
